Cayuga Lake Sunset Paddle
Join the education staff from the Montezuma Audubon Center on Thursday August 21st from 5:30-8:00 for a canoe/kayak paddle on the north end of Cayuga Lake to explore the late summer bird migration. Migrating raptors, shorebirds, and songbirds can be seen soaring high over the lake and hugging the shoreline. Bring your own canoe/kayak or rent one from us. Springwater Fiddlers Fair & American Crafts Show The 6th Annual Fiddlers Fair at Punky Hollow Farm is an all-day musical event for the whole family. The event is held September 13th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Whether you prefer to sit and enjoy the music on stage or hike surrounding scenic trails to experience “fiddling-in-the-woods”. You can also expect some lively jam sessions that will get your feet stomping and hands clapping! The festival will also highlight local artisans who will showcase their handmade wares. The 2014 Hamlin Fire Department Carnival will run Thursday August 7th thru Saturday August 9th. We will have greatest lineup of entertainment again this year with multiple bands from country, southern rock, and good old fashion rock. Monroe Counties last Firemen’s Carnival of the year. Located behind the Firehouse at 1521 Lake Rd in the Heart of Hamlin, NY. Playland Amusements of Auburn, NY will be providing the midway with great rides and games. Hamlin Firefighters would like to invite you and your family to Grand Firemen’s Parade Friday August 8th at 7 pm and come enjoy family fun with the entertainment, the carnival rides, and your favorite carnival food every day.
