Rugged Run for Respect an Extreme Obstacle Course and Mud Run

All proceeds benefit the athletes of Special Olympics New York.

Western New York Pottery Festival
The Western New York Pottery Festival is a juried, clay exclusive show that consists of 25+ local and national professional artists. The focus is not only for artists to set up and sell their work but to educate the public by hosting firing, throwing, hand building and other demonstrations by the festival artists. There will also be a Clay Olympics competition taking place on the Sunday of the festival (friendly competition between the festival artists). There will be kiln openings, food vendors, live music and activities for kids of all ages. The festival takes place at Studio Sales Pottery in Avon, NY. Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm

Finger Lakes Fiber Arts Festival
THE 19th ANNUAL FINGER LAKES FIBER ARTS FESTIVAL will be held September 21-22, 2013 at the spacious Hemlock Fairgrounds, Hemlock, NY. Our 2-day festival is devoted to all fiber arts with a special focus on hand spinning. A wide range of exciting fiber arts workshops is scheduled, so register early! Our special guest teacher and speaker this year is Stephanie Pearl-McPhee (the Yarn Harlot)! Fleece show and sale! Demonstrations, competitions, exhibits, fiber animals and 75+ high quality vendors of equipment, books, patterns, dyes, yarn, raw and processed fiber for every purpose, and beautiful finished goods!
