Free Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner
Burdett Presbyterian Church, 3995 Church St., Burdett, NY, will host its annual FREE Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner, Thursday, November 27th, noon-2pm. The menu will include roast turkey, mashed potatoes, cornbread-apple-sausage stuffing, traditional stuffing, gravy, squash, escalloped corn, green beans, fruit salad, cranberry relish, rolls, apple or pumpkin pie and beverage. Take-outs will be available. Deliveries will be made in the Burdett area. Reservations are requested by November 24th. Call 607-546-8560.

Shortsville Railroad Station Museum Holiday Open House
The Lehigh Valley Railroad Historical Society will hold a holiday open house at the station museum at 8 East High Street in Shortsville on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Santa Claus will be on hand to visit with children. Balloon artists and carolers will provide entertainment. The station museum will be decorated for the holidays and will have operating model train displays. Snacks, beverages, and gift items will be sold at the station. Adorn-a-Door Wreath Auction
Cortland County Historical Society would like to invite you to attend our second annual Adorn-a-Door Wreath Festival silent auction on Saturday, November 29. Please stop by to view a variety of beautifully decorated wreaths, courtesy of local businesses and community members. Bids will be taken all day long and the winners will be announced at the last hour. All of the money raised from the auction benefits Cortland County Historical Society. There is no fee for admission to the Wreath Festival, however, there will be an exhibit open in another part of the building for which there is a fee. Come and experience the world of miniatures and make believe as we take you back in time with our Dollhouse Holiday and Toy Extravaganza. We will have a diverse display of dollhouses and toys from our collection and on loan from community members. A perfect day out for families or anyone interested in toys. There will be a dollhouse raffle and special events throughout the duration of the exhibit. This exhibit will be held in the basement of Cortland County Historical Society.
