The Bloomfield Rotary presents “Ghost Riders” (Country) on Tuesday, July 26th from 7:00-9:00 PM at Elton Park in Bloomfield. In case of rain the concert will move to the East Bloomfield United Methodist Church. Bottled water and hot dogs will be available. Summer Walking Tours
This summer the Geneva Historical Society will again offer walking tours of some of Geneva's historic neighborhoods. Discover the many and varied stories of Geneva’s Washington, South Main, and North Main Street neighborhoods with the Historical Society Archivist Karen Osburn this July and August. Tours will run rain or shine on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. On Wednesday, July 13 the tour will run from Pulteney Park to Washington Street Cemetery. Tours on Wednesday, July 27 will go from Pulteney Park down South Main Street to St. Clair Street. These tours will start from Pulteney Park. The tour on August 10 will begin at the Geneva Public Library and cover North Main Street to Lewis Street. On August 24 the tour will start at First Baptist Church at 134 North Main and end at North Street. All tours start at 7 p.m. and cost $5 per person.

Morris Dancing at Watkins Glen State Park
Morris dancing is an ancient English folk art still practiced by many groups all over Great Britain and the US, and this weekend more than a hundred dancers will gather to perform at the entrance to the Watkins Glen State Park on Franklin Street. Dancing will take place in front of the gift shop from 10:00 to 11:45 on Saturday, July 30. The performance is free and all are welcome!

Krossin' Keuka 2016
Registration is now open for the annual swim across Keuka Lake to be held July 30th, 2016, at Pt Nemo, Keuka College, Keuka Park, NY. Krossin' Keuka is a .67 mile FUNdraising swim across Keuka Lake, off the shore of Keuka College. Swimmers are escorted by paddlers and marine patrol and greeted with breakfast on the shore. We swim to support the Keuka Comfort Care Home through fund raising in the form of sponsorships. Participants must raise the $150 minimum sponsorship in addition to paying the $25 registration fee. All participants under age 18 must have a parent or guardian complete their registration and legal agreements. In order to be eligible for fundraising prizes, sponsorship money must be turned in by July 2st. GTGYT presents Through the Looking Glass
Take a wildly entertaining trip through Alice’s looking glass to the beat of a hip-hopping soundtrack by Bill Francoeur. This adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass depicts the coming-of-age story with fun twists and music audiences of all ages will adore. With a book by James Devita and music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur, you’ll recognize some of your favorite characters of Wonderland and meet dozens of new ones along Alice’s journey. As a pawn from the second square of the chessboard, Alice must travel to the eighth square to accomplish her goal of becoming a queen. Each step of her passage brings her face to face with new characters and adventures as well as celebrations when she achieves each aspiration. The Youth Theater Summer Musical will be directed by Tina Crandall-Gommel. Show dates are July 29 & 30 at 7:30pm and July 31 at 2:00pm at the Geneva High School Auditorium, 101 Carter Rd. Geneva, NY. You take awesome pictures at the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve and we want to see them! From July 1 - August 1, 2016 Seneca Meadows is sponsoring an amateur, nature photo contest. All photos must be taken at the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve and submitted on a disk or USB flash drive to Seneca Meadows, 1786 Salcman Road, Waterloo, NY 13165 before or on August 1, 2016. A cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the first place judged photo, as well as the photo that receives the popular vote.
