A Worship Service sponsored by Eckankar, the Religion of the Light and Sound of God, will take place on Sunday, July 21, at 1:30 p.m. at Milly's Pantry, 19 Main Street, Penn Yan. This is an opportunity for individuals of all faiths to join together and share their love for God. The theme is “How Divine Spirit Works in Our Lives Every Day”. The service focuses on an aspect of Eckankar and often features a reading from the ECK works, singing HU, talks, music and a group discussion on “How Divine Spirit Works in Our Lives Every Day”. Krossin’ Keuka 2013 |
Registration is now open for the 5th annual swim across Keuka Lake to be held July 27th, 2013, at Pt Nemo, Keuka College, Keuka Park, NY
Krossin' Keuka is a .67 mile fun swim across Keuka Lake, off the shore of Keuka College. Swimmers are escorted by paddlers and marine patrol and greeted with breakfast on the shore. We swim to support the Keuka Comfort Care Home through fund raising in the form of sponsorships.
Participants must raise the $100 minimum sponsorship in addition to paying the $25 registration fee. All participants under age 18 must have a parent or guardian complete their registration and legal agreements.

You take awesome pictures at the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve and we want to see them! From July 1 - August 1, 2013 Seneca Meadows is sponsoring an amateur, nature photo contest. All photos must be taken at the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve and submitted on a disk or USB flash drive to Seneca Meadows, 1786 Salcman Road, Waterloo, NY 13165 by August 1, 2013. A cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the first place judged photo, as well as the photo that receives the popular vote. Submissions will be judged by a team of professional photographers, and by the public via Facebook. (Look for Seneca Meadows Education Center on Facebook). First, second and third place judged photos will be displayed at the Seneca Meadows Education Center during our Open House on Sunday, September 8, 2013. |
