Auburn woman convicted on two DWI counts

On May 13, 2014, a jury in the Waterloo Town Court (Hon. Christopher Folk, presiding) convicted Ann Matheson, 44 years old, of Auburn, of two counts of driving while intoxicated. Matheson was arrested by a Seneca County Deputy Sheriff on December 28, 2013 at 2:47 A.M. on Route 5&20 in the Town of Waterloo after the Deputy stopped to investigate a parked motor vehicle that a flat tire. At the trial, two Deputy Sheriffs testified for the People, and the defendant testified in her own defense. Sentencing will occur on May 22, 2014. Seneca County District Attorney Barry Porsch prosecuted the case. Matheson was represented by the Syracuse law firm of Anelli Xavier.
