  5/14/14 @ 10:29 am

Yates County Sheriff Ronald Spike has issued a boater advisory for Keuka Lake following last night's storm and flooding.

Due to heavy rains and flooding of streams and gulley’s emptying into Keuka Lake a large amount of debris is floating in the lake and the Outlet making it dangerous for boat operators, their boats and motor propellers. Boaters need to exercise caution and reduce speeds as trees, logs, stumps, and household debris are floating in the lake at this time.
