Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York
Feeling more like spring this week

Last week was a rather miserable week. This week is looking better, though is not without its own issues.

The sun will finally come out for the first half of this week. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will all be sunny. The problem on these days will be temperatures remaining below normal. Highs today and tomorrow will only reach the mid 50s. Overnight lows both nights will drop back into the 30s, with some patchy frost possible in the colder locations. Keep that in mind if you have planted your gardens already.

Our weather will turn much warmer from Thursday through the weekend. As it turns warmer, our chances for rain will go up again. In fact, some showers or thunderstorms will be possible as early as Wednesday night as a warm front moves north through the region.

The best chance for rain looks to be Saturday, though, as you can see from the colored boxes along the bottom of the graphic, the forecast confidence decreases for the end of the week.

Either way, the weather will be a lot more enjoyable this week than it was last week.
