24 teens charged at Covert underage drinking party

On Monday evening at about 10:00 pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to reports of a loud party that was occurring in the area of Kingtown Beach Rd Cottages located at 9305 Kingtown Beach Rd. in the Town of Covert. When Sheriff Deputies arrived in the area they found a large under age drinking party that was occurring at the cottages. All individuals at the party were under the age of 21.
The individuals were all from the New Jersey area and rented the cabins for the weekend with no parental supervision, 24 teens were charged with possession of alcohol under the age of 21 years with intent to consume and were issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Covert Court on 07-08-13 at 10:00 am to answer the charges.
One teen, Jack H Flynn, age 18 of Allendale, NJ, was charged with Criminal Impersonation in the 2nd Degree. Flynn allegedly provided a false name to Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies in order to elude charges relating to underage drinking, after providing the false name Flynn fled the area. Flynn was issued an appearance ticket for the charge and is to appear in the Town of Covert Court on 07-08-13 at 10:00 am to answer for the charges.
