SF man charged after burning child with light bulb

Seneca Falls Police say a 25-year-old man burned a 5-year-old's hand with a hot light bulb. On Monday, Seneca Falls Police arrested Michael A. Cotto Jr, age 25 of Fall Street in Seneca Falls for Endangering the welfare of a child and assault in the 3rd degree.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Seneca Falls Police Department and Seneca County Child Protective. It is alleged that Cotto forcibly held a 5-year-old's hand over a hot light bulb causing burns to the child's finger.
Cotto was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in Lieu of $1000 cash $2000 secure bond. Cotto is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on April 10th, 2013.
