A North Rose-Wolcott music teacher who was found dead on the shore of Lake Ontario after disappearing last month was to be questioned by the Wayne County Sheriff's Department on accusations of a sexual relationship with a student over the course of several years.
The Times of Wayne County reported that 48-year old Frederick Dunn was asked by Wayne County Sheriff's deputies to interview with them concerning allegations made by an 18 year old boy. The allegation was that Dunn had a sexual relationship with the boy for several years, including when the boy was a juvenile.
In his editorial, Editor Ron Holdraker says Dunn failed to show up for the police interview involving those allegations, but instead took his own life.
