On or about 3/2/2013 @ 1:25 am, @ 178 North Genesee Street, Officers responded for a report of a shooting. Upon Arrival it was learned that one male was shot. The victim was transported to Geneva General Hospital and pronounced dead. At the current time one suspect is in custody and charged with Murder in the Second Degree. Suspect was arraigned and held without bail. The investigation is continuing. Ontario County Sheriff’s Department and K9 assisted with the investigation.

On Saturday morning, around 1:45 am, police fficers responded for a report of a shooting at 78 North Genesee Street in Geneva. Upon Arrival it was learned that one male had been shot.
The victim was transported to Geneva General Hospital and pronounced dead. =
At the current time one suspect is in custody and charged with Murder in the Second Degree. Suspect was arraigned and held without bail. Larry L. Mallard Jr., 26 years old, of 9 North Exchange Street in Geneva has been charged with Murder in the Second Degree.
The investigation is continuing. Ontario County Sheriff’s Department and K9 assisted with the investigation.
Additional details will be released by the Chief of Police pending next of kin notification.
