| Geneva woman hospitalized after knife assault | |||
On Wednesday at about 10:30 pm Geneva police officers responded to Central & Hogarth Avenue for a report of an assault with a knife. A 27 year old female received serious physical injuries to her face/cheek & stomach as a result of the knife assault. Upon Arrival it was learned that the suspects had fled in a red Chevrolet with Massachusetts plates and were later stopped getting off the Thruway at the Manchester Exit by Ontario County Sheriffs & New York State Police where they were taken into custody. Detectives of the Geneva Police Department, continue their investigation this morning. All subjects involved with the assault are in custody. The victim is being treated at Geneva General Hospital.  In custody are: Suspect 1: Amber Lynn Hellinger, 24 Years of Age, Shortsville, New York Charged with Assault in the First Degree, B Felony Held for arraignment. Suspect 2: Juan G. Perez, 33 YOA, Rochester, New York Held on Parole Violation.
