Mynderse 74, Midlakes 50
Mynderse (12-5) beat Midlakes (3-14) 74-50 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Mynderse’s Luke Ruddy had a 24-point game with 15 rebounds while teammate Jimmy Ricci put up 15 additional points including five three-point shots. Jason Anderson chipped in 14 more points in the win. Midlakes’ Mason Jones had a 14-point game and Louis Price added 10 points in the loss.

NE/NW College Prep 55, Palmyra-Macedon 46
NE/NW College Prep (8-9) topped Palmyra-Macedon (5-12) 55-46 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. NE/NW College Prep Chad Cole had a 14-point game that included three three-point shots while teammate Demetrius Petway added four points with nine assists and Torry Wright another 13-points. Wright was seven-for-seven in free throw attempts. Jawon Thomas had a 10-point game with 11 rebounds for NE/NW College Prep. Palmyra-Macedon’s Cody Eckerson had a 15-point game that included three three-point shots and Mitchell Crist put up 12 additional points in the eventual loss.

Penn Yan 66, Waterloo 34
Penn Yan 66 (8-9) bested Waterloo (3-14) 66-34 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Penn Yan’s Shane Bloom led all scoring with a 19-point game while teammate James Burdette tacked on an additional 14 points in the win. Jonathan Jones of Waterloo put up seven points in the loss.

Naples 62, HAC 44
Naples (15-2) outscored HAC (2-15) 23-8 in the third quarter to pick up the win 62-44 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action.

Dundee 62, Red Jacket 41
Red Jacket (7-10) fell 62-41 to Dundee (10-7) yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Dundee’s Jon Huber led all scoring with a 15-point effort while teammate Justin Brace added 11 points and Andrew Clark and Aksel Jensen each put up nine points respectively. Red Jacket’s Alex Folts had an eight-point game and Mike Giaconia added an additional seven points in the loss.

Bloomfield 65, Romulus-South Seneca 24
Romulus-South Seneca (0-15) was shut down yesterday in Section V boys basketball as they continued their 15 consecutive losing streak when Bloomfield (11-5) bested them 65-24. Sean Fitzgerald of Bloomfield led all scoring with a 14-point game. Fitzgerald also had six rebounds and five assists while teammate Sam Cary shot for 12 points and had five rebounds. Romulus-South Seneca ‘s Alex Porter had a 5-point game in the loss.
