Mynderse 72, Marcus Whitman 43
Mynderse (9-5) topped Marcus Whitman (2-12) yesterday 72-43 in Section V boy’s basketball action. Mynderse’s Brandon Passalacqua led all scoring with 22 total points scored while adding 10 assists and 12 rebounds. His teammate Luke Ruddy had a 12-point game with six rebounds and Connor Miller added 11 points with seven rebounds in the win.

Newark 73, Midlakes 34
Yesterday in boy’s Section V boy’s basketball Newark (9-4) beat Midlakes (3-11) 73-34. Anthony Lombardi of Newark led all scoring with a 15-point game while teammate Micah Wright chipped in an additional 10 points. Midlakes Mason Jones had a 13-point game in the loss.

Palmyra-Macedon 44, Waterloo 38
Palmyra-Macedon (5-9) edged Waterloo (2-12) 44-38 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Palmyra-Macedon’s Trevor Wager had an 8-point game. Waterloo’s Nick Stenberg led all scoring with 21 total points in the upset.

Wayne 56, Penn Yan 43
Wayne (13-2) topped Penn Yan (7-7) 56-43 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Tre LaMora of Wayne led all scoring with19 total points. Penn Yan’s Bradley Voigt had a16-point game respectively in the loss.

Dundee 60, North Rose-Wolcott 50
Yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action Dundee (8-6) beat North Rose-Wolcott (6-8) 58-50. Dundee’s Cole Hartman led all scoring with a 15-point game while teammate Aksel Jensen chipped in an additional 10 points. North Rose-Wolcott’s Jake Stevenson had a 13-point game and Chris Dean tacked on another 10 points in the loss.

Pittsford-Mendon 58, Canandaigua 50
Pittsford-Mendon (8-6) beat Canandaigua (3-12) 58-50 yesterday in Section V boy’s basketball action. Matt Sullivan of Pittsford-Mendon had a 23-point game which led all scoring while teammate Nick Keneally shot for 15 points with six rebounds and six assists. Canandaigua’s Sean Outhouse posted a19-point game which included five three-point shots.
