The Seneca County Health Department has issued a boil water notice for the Village of Interlaken’s Public Water System due to a water main break. Residents in the Village of Interlaken are advised to boil their water before use.
Residents should bring tap water to a rolling boil, boil for one minute and cool before using or use bottled water certified for sale by the New York State Department of Health. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing hands, dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food until further notice.
For more information, please contact the Village of Interlaken at (607) 532-8882 or the Seneca County Health Department at (315) 539-1945.
