Romulus, Waterloo men charged with cocaine sales

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit is reporting the arrest of three individuals following an investigation into the sale of cocaine in the local community.

Arrested were the following:

Tyler J. Parshall, 21, of 4490 Dilts Road, Romulus, New York, was charged with:

*Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree – 3 counts (Class B Felonies)
*Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree (Class B Felony)
*Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the second degree (Class A Misdemeanor)
*Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the first degree – 2 counts (Class A Misdemeanors)

Matthew J. Tyler, 22, of 38 East Main Street, Waterloo, New York, was charged with:

*Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree &n d ash; 2 counts (Class B Felonies)
*Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree (Class B Felony)

Brianna S. Long, 27, of 4490 Dilts Road, Romulus, New York, was charged with:

*Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the first degree – 2 counts (Class A Misdemeanors)

It is alleged that Parshall and Tyler worked in concert to sell cocaine in the local community. During the arrest, Investigators found Parshall and Tyler to be in possession of cocaine that was intended to be sold. A quantity of United States currency was also seized.

It is further alleged that Parshall possessed a quantity of cocaine, packaging materials used for selling cocaine, and a cutting agent inside his home where two young children reside.

Parshall and Tyler were both arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail/$20,000 secured bond. Both are to reappear in the Waterloo Village Court on January 23, 2013 at 3 pm.

Long was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Varick Town Court on February 6, 2013, at 7 pm.

The Narcotics Unit was assisted by members of the Sheriff’s Office Uniform Road Patrol and the Waterloo Police Department.
