Yesterday in Section III boy’s basketball action Cato-Meridian (2-8) edged Manlius Pebble Hill (0-7) 49-43.
Austin Bierce led Cato-Meridian's scoring charge with 17 total points. Bierce also had 4 rebounds, 2 assists and two steals on the night. Joe Schneider chipped in an additional 14 points while also having 7 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal. Zach Garrigan had a 12-point game with 4 assists.
Dan Byrnes of Manlius Pebble Hill had a 17-point game in the loss.
Cato-Meridian will be back in action on Friday, January 11 when they host Fabius-Pompey in a 5:30 pm match up.
