Sheriff’s Investigators were assisted by the Seneca County Child Protective Services.

The Sheriff’s investigation is continuing.

“This is a clear case of someone seeing something that didn’t look right and reported those suspicions to law enforcement. In this case, we have one or more adults selling marihuana to school kids and the fact that a person took the time to make us aware of it enabled us to conduct an investigation, execute a search warrant and make a r rests. If it weren’t bad enough that adults were selling pot to school kids, the most troubling part of this case is the fact that a 16 year old child possessed a pistol and a defaced rifle and the parents knew it and did nothing about it.”, said Sheriff Stenberg.
